The quartet is lead by Marc Elton who has the rare ability to play by ear without needing any music. His routine of taking requests has proved very popular at weddings and works very well at a drinks reception also.
Marc has played in many different types of bands and has learned many different styles of violin playing. These include Jazz, Bluegrass, European Gypsy music, Irish Jigs and Reels, Klezma, Tangos and French and Italian Café music. Marc's varied performance experience accounts for the thousands of tunes he knows. Think of a tune and the chances are, he can play it for you on the spot!
