Our History
The members of the Quartet met over ten years ago when studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. The first ever function was for a dinner in the Officers Mess in Maindy Army Barracks in Cardiff. This led to a flurry of similar work that was the catalyst for the formation of the group.
St. Mary's Abbey, Abbey Dore
Our first concert performance was in the famous 11th century cistercian Abbey in Abbeydore near Hereford (pictured above). It was from this event that the group takes its name.
Since then we have played for weddings and functions all over England and Wales, as well as on the concert platform.
