We are an established professional ensemble that also specialises in providing live entertainment to complement memorable occasions such as weddings, corporate functions and parties. We take pride in our work and are extremely professional in our approach whilst always remaining friendly towards the people we work with.
Based in Cardiff, we mainly perform in South Wales and the West Country, but easily travel further a field.
The Abbey String Quartet play a full variety of material including most popular classics, jazz, themes from films, TV and radio, ragtime, blues and many others. Please see our repertoire page for a selection of the music we play.
In addition, the group is lucky to have a Human Jukebox. Marc Elton has the rare ability to play by ear without needing any music. Think of a tune and he will play it for you!
